Qualifications for Internships

Internships

• Previous Event Planning Experience ~ Applicants should have some previous event planning experience. This includes non-professional experience such as sorority social chair, church fellowship chair, college homecoming committee, charity galas etc.
• Driving Knowledge of Metro Atlanta ~ Applicants should be familiar with Atlanta's interstates and main roads, possess an ability to read and follow a road map, and have a reliable means of transportation, insurance, and a valid Georgia driver's license.
• Outgoing Personality ~ Applicant should be hospitable, assertive, motivated, independent, diplomatic, resourceful, quick moving and able to multi-task.
• Weekend Availability ~ Applicants must have availability to work at weddings on Friday evenings and all day on both Saturdays and Sundays.
• Computer Skills ~ Word, Excel, Outlook and General Internet Skills
• Applicant should be goal oriented and self-motivated; excellent attention to details.
• Applicant should also possess excellent communication skills - listening, speaking, and interpersonal skills.
• Applicant should be able to follow a timeline and have excellent time management skills.
