Q.  Why is it important to have a wedding consultant?

A.  A wedding consultant helps the bride to remain organized during her wedding day by assuring the details of the wedding are executed flawlessly, by assuring everyone is on time and where they should be, and by overseeing the setup and breakdown of the event.

Q.  Why can't one of my friends plan my wedding?

A.  While having a diligent friend to help with your wedding is awesome, when you hire a wedding consultant, you are assuring yourself that you have hired a professionally trained and experienced wedding consultant, you're assuring yourself that your vision will be brought to life without drama.  

Q.  What do I look for in a wedding consultant?  

A.  You look for a consultant that has credentials:  professional training, experience, and multiple references.  You should also look for a wedding consultant who has a rapport with various vendors whom she can make referrals for services.

Q.  How does a wedding consultant help me with time management?

A.   The experienced consultant can save a client time and legwork. Many of today's couples are members of the workforce and have very little time to spend planning. A consultant can usually accommodate appointments that need to be scheduled in the evening. Your consultant is an expert, familiar with all phases of the industry and can turn the vendor search into a piece of cake! On the day of your wedding, your consultant will provide direction for seating of special family members, placement of flowers and cake, and orchestrate every detail of the reception.

Q.  What about my budget?  How will I stay within my budget?

A.  Most couples have not had the experience of planning an event of this magnitude until they are engaged to be married. They have no reference point from which to start with regard to the true costs involved in planning a wedding. A Certified Wedding Consultant is familiar with the market and current costs of an array of items and services. Your consultant can also help clients stay within a predetermined budget and formulate which portion of it should be applied towards each component of the ceremony and reception.

Q.  Troubleshooting?

Professional Wedding Consultants are prepared for anything! The careful planning and expert referrals by a consultant will virtually eliminate the risk of mishaps on a wedding day. However, in the unlikely event of a missed delivery or an apparel problem (or another emergency), your consultant will have every resource to rectify the problem right at their fingertips. Your well-trained consultant will be an invaluable resource for you and your family saving you concern about any aspect of your important event.

Q.  My Wedding is in the Bahamas?  Can you do a destination wedding?

A.  Our consultants are available to travel to your location to serve your wedding needs. We are also family with multiple resources available to help plan your destination wedding. Couples who choose to get married over seas or in the tropics, will need the expertise of a consultant who is knowledgeable of the specific requirements for any given foreign destination.
